Add a thumbnail instructions - need clarification

The documentation instructions for adding a thumbnail to the News articles view is a little unclear.

"Add a thumbnail image (upload new, find object, folder up, Media, select 'article_image_01')."

Can you please review this and insert the steps in the correct order.

I think that these instructions may not relate to the interface in 3.8.4.

Particularly the step "find object" is not easy to find.
