eZ publish structures and stores content inside a database. This is true for all content except images and raw/binary files. These are stored on the filesystem (within the "var" directory) to gain speed. Everything that is related to design (template files, CSS files, non content specific images, etc.) is also stored on the filesystem.

cache in ezpublish

here is something that i yet dont understand... anytime when a user make clic in some ezpublish site this query the database? or exist some type of static cache for display the information to clients? because if always consult database content the answer time of the system will be slow...
