Limited role assigment makes it possible to assing roles to users on a specified subtree or section. This can drasticly reduce the number of roles needed to be set up.

A simple example would be setting up a forum with forum moderators. Instead of setting up a role for each sub forum, The administrator can assing a general forum moderator role to different sub forums for different users.

To be more spesific.. In view role-mode, I get the correct list of users and what I assume is the correct list of subtrees. But in the list of access-rules for those users, they are listed as having full edit and remove-rights to all forum topics and forum replies. This also applies in practice, since they are able to edit and remove everything with those classes.

Anyone have any experience with this?

What am I doing wrong?

I try setting up things as they're shown here, but still I'm only able to grant moderator access to -all- forums, not only the ones defined by subtree. What am I doing wrong?
