The class module provides an interface to the content class engine inside the eZ publish kernel. Please refer to "The content class" part of the eZ publish basics chapter for more information about the content class term itself. The administration interface makes use the views that this module provides in order to allow the management of content classes (add new, remove, edit, group, etc.). Although possible, it isn't common to use these views when building a website (unless there is a need to replicate the class management functionality of the administration interface).
The following table contains a list of the views that are available in the class module. Click on the name of a view for more information about that specific view (usage, parameters, description, examples, etc.).
